This hardware store sell the good, effective soft bait, rat poison that come in the square snowy looking little bags they don't sell in Home Depot or other local hardware stores. Amazon sells it but they don't allow shipping of it to my region. This poison is the best because IMO they attract the rats and mice the better than others, and wipe them out from your home. The employee were very helpful and patient with me.

Couldn’t believe it that they carry everything for my oil furnace and I am amazed that thier prices are lower than these big chains that try to destroy the town hardware store in my neighborhood and I could go to my hardware store and they would have the thing that I am looking for homedepot doesn’t do that because they are not in the neighborhood they are on a major highway and you have to go spend gas and drive to get the parts that they don’t have anyway

Been going here for over 30 years. Best hardware store in essex county. You might pay 50 cents more than you would at a home depot but they know what you need and explain how to use it. Very good for a non professional DIY like me.

These guys are the best! They have just about everything, and they know just about everything. They are extremely patient and helpful. I needed sections on black pipe over 10' long. After calling numerous places and people telling me it would be special order and I'd have to wait a few days, I went to Verona. It was no big deal to them and they cut the pipe to length while I waited.

All the guys behind the counter are always willing to help even if people don’t really know what the thing they need is called. They go above and beyond to help you solve the issue you have on hand. Verona has everything you need and very well price, they run a very high stock of items for specific solutions, professionals shop here not at Home Depot.
