This place is absolutely horrible! Rude service. I didn’t even know it until I visited another Ace hardware in Brooklyn, but Tribeca paint charged me over $15 more for the exact same gallon of paint versus a Brooklyn Ace. When I mentioned this to the Brooklyn Ace I went to (who had amazing service by the way), he said they can set their own prices. Last time I ever go here and I don’t recommend it at all!

Returned a nursery pot and verbally confirmed with the employee he processed the refund. Two weeks later still haven’t received a refund. I called the store was was told there was no record of a return…

I would recommend that you avoid this place if at all possible. I typically do not leave negative reviews, but this was the worst customer experience of my life. I came in with some pieces of hardware, and asked whether the staff could help me find an adapter between them. The person helping me told me that he had 20 years of experience in the hardware business, and that I didn’t know what I was talking about. He was generally incredibly rude. I then had to go back to my apartment, do some online research, found the piece that I needed, and found that it was in stock at this store. I then went back, and was able to purchase the piece. I can handle staff not being knowledgeable, I can handle staff being rude, and I can handle prices that are ripoffs. However, the combination of the three is intolerable. The only instance in which I’d recommend shopping at this store is if you know EXACTLY what you are looking for, are okay being treated terribly, and are okay with overpaying.

Been here three times to pick up miscellaneous items. Admittedly they have all been pretty straightforward items such as a can of paint or a screwdriver, so I did not require much assistance or expert knowledge, but I've always had a good experience. One time I was in a real rush so I called and asked them to prep all of my items up at the register for me so I could double park, run in and pay for everything, and then quickly leave. It all worked out well.
