I’m a neighbor and we use Stanley’s for everything! It has so much more than just hardware. You can support this great, local business rather than large corporate entities like Home Depot or Lowe’s. The service here is better, tailored, and employees are constantly looking out for the customers and what they need/are looking for.

I’ve been coming here for 7 years and love this place- I’ll explain. We live in a world dominated by corporate behemoths staffed by uninterested unknowledgeable employees. I’m 36 so I can’t claim to know everything but I know it’s the little things that matter in life. When I come here someone greets you immediately and asks what you need; and they know where to find it. This is so uncommon nowadays it might seem off putting but I swear it is a sign of good business practices. The prices are fair for the location of the store. Given the floorspace available they have a good calculation of items to stock for the area. The biggest benefit I see and I cannot stress this enough, they hire young people from the neighborhood to work- this alone makes me want to do my business here. Five stars all day. Makes me want to watch Home Improvement

I walk in knowing very little about the project which has brought me to the store. I walk out with just what I need and helpful hints on how to make the project easier. What a wonderful place to go to find just what you need and super staff to recommend just the right tools. Thank you!

This morning, I had to go to Stanleys Hardware to get some Teflon So I could seal up a leak in one of my water faucets. The minute I walked in the door I was asked if I needed help and then the gentleman proceeded to to walk me over to the aisle and pick out what I needed. He’s then took me over to the faucet section where he could show me on the faucet what I needed to do. I love this store and all of the people who work here. I have lived in Roxborough for almost 30 years and the people at Stanley’s Have always been super nice and very helpful. I have never felt Rushed and no one has ever not taken the time to help me or try to find someone that could. I can’t say enough good Things about this hardware store or the people that work here
