Wow! Just amazing. I needed a very specific bolt and being completely honest, I went to Lowes because it was convenient. I'm in the isle looking for a bolt for 20 minutes. An employee walks by looking down at his phone. I hold the bolt up and say excuse me, and he just keeps walking. Obviously, I just left. I drove over to Rocky's Ace hardware and immediately when I walk in Alana (I hope I spelled correctly), instantly greets me, very pleasant and asks how she can help. I show her the bolt I need and she directs me to the back wall. Before I walk away, she asks me if I would like someone to meet me there and assist me. I said, absolutely, that would be amazing. I get to the back wall with the thousands of Nuts and Bolts and Mike walks out and asks how he can help. I show him the bolt, he measures it, and we walk to a drawer. He takes out the bolt to compare and sure enough, I got the correct bolt. But wait....there's more. Mike actually educated me on things that I had zero idea about that actually matter. I guess my whole point here, is if you want/need a hardware store, and you want amazing customer service, and to be treated like you matter, and not just a number....look no further. Here's the kicker of the whole thing. I was treated this way for $1.72 sale. I'm telling you, this store cares about it's customers

Use this store frequently and don't usually have issues. However, we dropped off a leaf blower two years ago for repair and we still have not gotten it back. I've tried going in and asking for the repair guy but he's never there. They gave me a number to call and no one picks up. At this point I don't think I'm getting my leaf blower back. They've basically told me there's nothing they can do. It wasn't fancy, probably $150 at most but I'd be nervous giving them anything of significant value. Had to go out and buy a new blower...

Can usually find what I need here with a lot less wandering around than the big box stores. Eyes open for special deals and a great place to get a key or two cut.

We went to Rocky’s to browse lawn trimmers. We dealt with Nicole, who was in charge of Stihl products. She was extremely knowledgeable, polite and not high pressure. What a difference from a big box stores who have such little product knowledge. I was actually treated with respect. My questions answered, the product demonstrated. As a result of Nicole, we were very satisfied and happy to make a Stihl purchase at Rocky’s. Time to come Rocky’s first and avoid the frustration of the box stores. 5 Stars to Rocky’s and Nicole.

I have always been a fan of Rocky’s Ace Hardware. However, their pricing is starting to get ridiculous. I recently went to purchase a Craftsmen 14 piece screwdriver set but decided against it as the delivery price was an extra $15. I ended up ordering from Lowe’s who offered the same item for $9 less and then only charged $4.99 for delivery. I ended up only paying $35 with tax and delivery instead of the $50 Rocky’s wanted. I understand you will pay more for convenience, but come on. The price difference was extreme on this one. Do better Rocky’s.
