The place has just about everything. Small hardware items, tapes, glues, light bulbs, small tools, kitchen utensils, etc. They also have tee shirts, sweatshirts, toys, candy, snacks, a full service pharmacy, books, seasonal decorations, small appliances, contact paper, clear vinyl sheeting, stationary supplies, plants, BBQ grills and thousands of other items. Great store, friendly helpful staff, well stocked and clean.

There’s an elderly lady in a white Hyundai patrolling the parking lot and side streets before the store opens. I have no idea who she is or who she works for

Rain dew is a great local store that remind you of the old-time Woolworths. They seem to have a little bit of everything you can get candy, hardware, yarn, toys.. they have it all. Prices are great for a small local store. They even have a pharmacy. It’s great to shop local and support business in the area.

Today’s was not the first experience I had here. Every other experience I’ve had here was pleasant but I suppose it’s thanks to me never having any issues at checkout until before. I came in to buy some more masks for my daughter for school. Upon arriving at the counter I realized I’d left my wallet at home. I tried my Apple Pay and was declined due to insufficient funds in my account. I’m sure I’m not the only person experiencing this during a global pandemic but you would have thought that I just announced to the store that I was a completely uncivilized vagrant at the change in mood at this point. The clerk (who before my payment was declined was sweet as pie talking to me about her family) now turned cold and annoyed and shouts across the counter “come void this. Idk she doesn’t have enough money”. When I finally managed to dig some coins out of my pocket she let out an audible sigh of annoyance. It was the single most humiliating experience of my life. I will NEVER be going back here. Shame on these people!!! This is a time for compassion! Not a single staff member here showed an ounce of it as I was struggling, hands shaking, to come up with the balance. I was not asking for anyone to give a handout just for you to have the basic decency to conceal your annoyance until I left the store!
