Every time I go to a big box store help is nowhere to be found, and when I do track somebody down, they’re usually not knowledgeable. Here I got helped immediately, the guys are experts and when I needed something they didn’t have they got it ordered in super fast.

I like this place. I haven't been here for a long time and they've reorganized the store. They've made it more open and it's easier to peruse the shelves. That was done about 6 years ago! They have an impressive range of products and if you're a DIY'er, you'll probably find some things that catch your interest as well as finding what you need. Obviously a more pleasant experience than Home Depot. Prices are a little higher but not excessively.

Great local hardware store! Prices are pretty comparable, especially if you happen to be right around the corner and need something fast. They also have a really deep selection, so chances are you can find it here. Always call and ask first - they'll answer quickly and maybe save you the trip!

Pino's has been in Union City forever and deservedly so. They are the quintessential local business, run by the most knowledgeable and friendly people. Have gone here for years and no matter what I need they seem to just pull it out of the air for me. They carry Benjamin Moore paint (always my go to), and they know all the other local professionals i.e. painters, plumbers etc. you may need. Love to support local business especially when they truly are top in the field.
