Giving three stars because I can usually find what I am looking for, and until recently I had good experiences. I don't usually write reviews, but my experience has been weighing on my mind since it happened. I want to chime in about an experience I had this past Sunday while trying to get a lamp repaired. I saw a sign a few months ago advertising lamp repair and was so excited because I had two lamps that needed repaired due to dogs chewing through the cord. First lamp repair went great, no issues (the gentleman who actually does the repairs took it and had it done same day). More recently, I went in on Sunday morning to drop my other lamp off, and the lady (who I believe is part of the husband/wife ownership duo) told me the repair was so easy and that it would only take two minutes. I explained to her that I usually don't have the time to do things like this and wanted to get the lamp repaired and that I didn't have the parts for it anyways. I dropped the lamp off and went about my business getting other things. When I went up to the register the same lady was talking about me to another gentleman (customer- not even an employee) about how easy the repair was and why she didn't understand why I wouldn't just do the repair myself. She then sees me and goes "THERE she is...we're going to TEACH you how to do this repair." This was amongst other things that were said during my visit. Listen- I just wasn't interested in learning at that moment. I was interested in a service that you advertised as providing. I actually know how to repair a lamp but time and materials were a factor in getting someone else to do it. Please stop being condescending and rude to your customers who are just trying to provide a local store with business. I walked out of that store completely frustrated and a little angry at the amount of condescation that I experienced. Just because I am a younger(ish) woman, doesn't mean I don't know how to do a skill. Take the paid job and provide the service you advertise.

Paid for two of the same color of paint but upon opening both cans they were not the same shade. When I brought both cans back to show them they were not the same color, I was told “that’s impossible”. I then had to wait while the employee opened both cans and proved to me that they were the same by putting some of each color onto a wooden paint stick. He then used a hair dryer on the paint to help it set. Don’t buy paint from here unless you like wasting money. Pictures of both lids included.

I don’t know this woman’s name, but she is incredibly rude and unhelpful. She starts off with no. I had paint mixed and she was so resistant to correct the issue. Get your paint mixed elsewhere! Give solid stars for Rich. He’s wonderful and so helpful!!

Hubby's go to place for misc. metal, nuts, bolts etc. I don't even understand what he needs but he always can find it here. And if he's searching, usually there is help. Weekends can get busy so you might need to wait a bit til someone can assist. . I like the huge selection of lightbulbs to meet any need. Will be checking out the furnace filters next, there's ALOT of them.

This is a knock on this stores/companies policies and not so much for the staff. I ordered a EGO Lawnmower for store pickup -since it was one of the few in my area. It said one in stock - so I placed order. I drove 1 hr to this store - that is a long drive wasting a lot of gas. So I get to store to pickup my online order - and they proceed to pull the open box fully assembled lawn mower off the display shelf. I said I didn't want an assembled lawnmower - but one in an unopened box. They said that the display model was the only one they had. I said - that's an open box model. The manager said that it's like new - and this is the stores/companies policy - sell open box models as new. I canceled my order then and there. Call ahead before doing what I did.
