I will stick to Beeches hardware in Bristol, everytime i go in there they go out of their way to offer their help. I just left Penndel Hardware was very disappointed of how they treat their customer. I was the only customer in there and an a much older gentleman enters the store walking with cane looking to purchases rock salt. He goes up and tells the young kid who is working the register, the young kid rings him up now i am the only other customer in the store and there are two employees, One not doing anything just standing behind the register, and they don't even offer to hold the door for him. What a disgrace

This hardware store has the hard to find things you need in a pinch, and their knowledge of all things hardware is outstanding. There’s a young guy named Alex that works there. He may be young, but he knows what he’s talking about sharp smart and very nice young man so whatever you need, it’s a place to go.

Person behind the counter seemed annoyed from the first question of do you have s Any 14mm bolts ti which he said i dont know. Then asked what is it needed fir and i was holding it in my hand snd told it was a master cylinder for my truck. To that he said why don't you go to auto parts store that where he check. I told him i was already there and that why i was visiting his store to see if he had any thong i could use. So we came up witj two bolts s long and they were $2.39 each . i originally was looking fir a plug to test the master cylinder but opted for the bolts so before i left i asked if he had anything not so long and was asked to explain why. He became agitated and seem to be ready to loose it so i told him id just tske the bolts anf we proceeded to the counter to pay fir them where another customer came im and ssid he was there to pick up a screen repair to which i was left standing and had ti wait till he completed that transaction. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. He really was Mt very good at being able ti deal with me or anyone else . Home Depot or lowes would have been a much better store if you wanted to be treated and talked to like a valued customer. I won't be back again and hope others will avoid this annoyed and unquestionable man. Buyer beware!

Its nice having a hardware store local. The shop doesn't contain everything that a Lowes or Home Depot does, but usually there aren't many people there and you can quickly get personal attention. No long lines. Prices are reasonable.

It's nice to be able to walk to the local hardware store, talk with a knowledgeable employee, and walk out with a solution in hand. Also I can buy exactly one bolt or washer or nut. I'm tired of collecting the extras when I have to buy a box from the big box stores.
