Used to live in the neighborhood for over 10years and like this place very much, I was always satisfied with the service and assortment of items , to me is one of the best stores and service in the whole neighborhood, if not NYC considering the size of the store. The owner and manager is a very honest, pleasant and professional person, I never had any issues and to this day I go to neighborhood mostly for this place and to the nail salon I'm very happy that this hardware is still in business . One more thing whenever the keys are not working or not perfectly functional the owner replaces them at no charge at all. ..I don't go anywhere else to make keys even though I recently moved out of state. I am now in NY and decided to leave this review, because I was looking for Saturday working hours thinking of going tomorrow to make two copies of my apartment keys. I hope my review will be of lots of help to everyone 🙏 🙂

I love coming here. It truly is the "old-school" hardware store, and it's just as much fun looking for what you need. I never have a problem, when I ask for an item. Personally, I do feel obligated to shop, locally. sure Home Depot, etc, has large and extensive products, but M&M has the 'feel' and comfort; not to mention reasonable prices.

I paid him money to copy keys, He failed. He didn’t return my full credit.

Very messy store, super unorganized. It’s best if you get help from the front desk. CASH-ONLY!
