Absolute rip-off. Charge me a $100 for not even an hour's worth of rental time. On a plate compact or then the people were Snoddy and had attitude when I thought they made a mistake.

0 Stars!! I rented a gas powered saw from them. When i got to the job the saw would not start, and then the pull cord broke. I returned to Loper's and was informed i would have to pay for the rental, even though the saw wouldn't start. What kind of way is that to do business? No concept of customer service. Renter Beware!!!

We were about 30 minutes in this store today. 3 Associates walked by me, like I am invisible. Not a "Good morning, how may I assist you today?" We were going to buy a blower, a standup commercial mower, and some more tools for the business. Since we where "invisible" to them, we took our money to another place that welcomed us with such expertise, respect and we were visible to them. Customer Service below standard. This never happened with the old management, the new management has a lot to learn, if they are planning on to remain in business.

This place is terrific. The owner and all his workers were great. The prices were also very good. Will definitely go back again to buy more stuff.

If you are looking to add power to your yard work efforts, look no further than Lopers East End Hardware. It is smaller than Home Depot, but they seem to be able to pull power tools from every direction. Aisles and aisles of belts, nuts, bolts, engines, all new equipment as well as rentals. So today we demonstrate a tool that can turn over your garden in under an hour, dig holes large enough to plant a good-sized tree and even attach an edge for a precise clean look. Now I may have missed something else here but honestly; my husband keeps saying how much time and labor he saved by buying this tool. (STIHL MM 56C Rototiller) And there is a promotion, so he gets a freewheel attachment, and I'll get a pretty rose garden. Works for me!
