I love being able to run in and grab what I need. The hardware store is always clean and well stocked. The lumber mill is great as you drive into the garage and load your purchases into your vehicle. The staff is knowledgeable about their products, always friendly and helpful. You don’t get this kind of knowledge and service at the big box stores. I love supporting a locally owned small business.

I'll make an attempt to make this short. I have and always will support local businesses. Unfortunately, I will not be giving any business to IBS in the future. The customer service today was atrocious. There was a $4 delta between 2 of the exact same item. One apparently was old stock and one was new. After the manager explained to me why there was a difference, he just sat there and stared at me. Finally I said, so that's it? Like there is no making a proper adjustment? I have to pay 2 separate prices for the same exact item? Meanwhile the cashier hasn't blinked in 30 secs, just gazing off into space, also waiting for the answer. It's $4 bucks, I'll survive. But it's about principal and basic customer service 101. I work in a family owned business that would never treat a customer like I was being "inconvenient " to them at the time. 2 stars because they are close to my house and are opened on a Sunday.

I was coming from the other side of the state to do a job. I always support local on my jobs. Called to put my material price together for my customer of some pressure treated 2x4 2x6 and 3/4 plywood. They safeguarded their prices saying that they could only give two prices over the phone and I would need to come in to do a quote. I tried reasoning with them and they were firm. Never have I had such irrational treatment. This building supplier only wants townies purchasing. A little contradictory to their name. If you're the supplier that hung up on me reading this I respectfully recommend you guys revisit this in search of a better process welcoming out of territory people to support local.

Only discovered the store today and I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of product depth. I was planning a quick in and out but all the choices had me stopping and reading to make a decision. Friendly staff inquired if I needed any assistance. It's good to patronize a local small business.
