Bought a Weber grill here and service was fantastic. Pat has been selling grills since ‘95 and is super knowledgeable and not pushy or salesy. I checked big box stores prior to finding Ace and big box were no cheaper and no one had any knowledge of grills. Ace assembled and delivered within days and exactly when they promised to. Couldn’t recommend Pat and Ace more!

For anyone in or around Waldwick, this hardware store is the absolute spot for refilling propane tanks. It cost about half what I was paying for last few years. WOW! Friendly and quick service. I will return next time I am in need of something around the house!

Service and knowledge are great. Counter/register practices are shady. I made a purchase of lawn leaf bags. The clerk asked me if I wanted to use debit or credit. I tell him debit and he charges me $0.50 on my $10.00 purchase. I asked him why and he pointed to a poorly printed policy on the counter stating a fee will be charged for credit card purchases. I informed him that my purchase was debit and he refused to refund me. Yes, it is a small amount, but if they do this to 100 customers per day, it adds up in their favor. Beware of the register ring up practices.

I purchased a new Weber grill, the staff was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out a great model. The grill was delivered a few days later, delivery was right on time and the guys were very polite and professional. They gave me some great advice on how to prep the grill for use and how to safely store my propane tanks. I highly recommend this hardware store!

We sometimes shop here to get ideas of what our next project should be at our home. It's the perfect sized store, has about everything you need, not overwhelming and great prices. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. We rather shop here than the bigger stores and Amazon. You don't have to walk around for 15 minutes to find an employee for help or waste an hour trying to find research that fits exactly what you are trying to do. It's the questions/ideas that you can bounce off people that make the world of a difference for the DIY’ers. I appreciate this business and recommend.
