    I love this group of old fashioned hardware stores. They are close to my home and have such helpful employees. The selection is great and the gift department is fantastic. Plants are great in the spring. All around asset to our community.

    I have been shopping at this store for roughly 20 years. Today I was told that to shop in the store I had to leave my purse behind the counter or bring it back to my car. My purse. Should be left unattended by me. Behind the counter. The woman who gave this direction told me quote “your bag is too big to shop in our store”. So because I need to know what “too big” is, I measured my purse when I got home. It is exactly 12” wide, 11” high. Then just to be thorough, I googled what is the average size purse and the answer is 17.5 by 23.5 for a shoulder bag, which is what I was carrying. So my below average sized purse was too big to carry in their store. This is singling women out and excluding them from being welcome in your store. No backpacks? I get it. But a purse, which the majority of American women carry, is no longer allowed? I’m speechless. What’s funny is nothing is said to men that walk around in that store with their butt crack showing, which is public indecency and should be addressed. I for one am offended every time I see it. But by all means, ban purses.

    People were very helpful had problem with new chainsaw never used it returned for warranty kept for three weeks charged me 55.00 dollars said gas was bad they put gas in to test I never added. Was in because chain bound still binds up and hard to start.called Stihl Customer service they referred me to other dealer to do warranty work only buy from authorized Stihl dealer who do warranty

    Overpriced and understaffed, which is par for the course for small hardware stores, but they will sell you hardware from a mislabeled bin and then refuse to accept a return. They've gotten their last dollar from me

    I had brought an ego product in before to be looked at that was prepaid by ego without any issues with this store. I had another problem with an ego tool and again had a prepaid slip from ego to check the tool to see if it was covered under warranty. When I went to drop off the tool, the employee tried charging me a diagnostic fee which hasn’t ever happened prior. I declined. I called Ego support and they even said that if the product was deemed to not be covered under warranty then that fee would be taken after it was looked at and not at the time of drop off. I tried explaining it to the manager as well and he was not helpful either. One employee went to the lengths to say that the service employee will purposely hold onto a tool for two weeks and not service it if the fee is not paid. I’ve had great experiences at this store before, but it sucks to have that tarnished. Update after their response: I don’t understand you and you’re going against what ego said themselves. Call their dealer line.
