I like to fix things around the house but I’m not too knowledgeable about the lingo and equipment. Dan and Danny and Marco are extremely helpful in locating items in their store. They also are great about giving advice about what kind of stuff you need for small home improvement projects. When my basement flooded during Ida, these guys hooked me up with a submersible pump. If some weird thing breaks around the house (like a house fan belt) these guys will get you a new one. I’m a huge “fan” of this store!

Dan and Dan have done a great job organizing and sprucing up the store since taking it over. Their service is immediate, knowledgeable and friendly. It is critical to have a good hardware store in town and these guys are a really great additional to our downtown. And that's in addition to providing an excellent painting service

If i could give it negative stars, i would. I went in today because the shower curtain rod my husband bought doesn't work. Instead of trying to help me, the senior guy in the store (the owner?) inserted himself in the conversation and proceeded to humiliate me by telling me there was nothing wrong with it. As a crowd of men gathered around, he continued to "mansplain" why I was wrong and he was right. Arrogance, condescension compounded by misogyny. I am certain that would not have happened if my husband had gone in, or if he has been with me. I am usually a big proponent of shopping local but not this place.
