This was the third Harbor Freight that I had visited on this day. I was in search of a dual action polisher. I had almost pulled the trigger on another brand and a simple dual action polisher. I was looking for the power and dexterity of a rotary polisher and the ease of use with the professional results from a dual action polisher. After doing a bit more research, I ran across what is known as a Forced Rotary Dual Action Polisher. There is a company out there that has one almost identical to the Hercules, Forced Rotary Dual Action Polisher, is what Harbor Freight is selling, for approximately 1/3 of the price. Almost screw fir screw and nut for nut this Hercules is one solid well put together unit. I additionally purched a 2 year warranty on top of the initial 90 day warranty that comes default with the unit. The Commack Harbor Freight was rather busy, but it was the only location, just shy of heading out to Massapequa, that had the unit that I was looking for in stock. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The one gentleman that assisted me was extremely thorough and accommodating. I had a really good experience here and I will travel out of my way again (about 8 miles from home) to purchase more items and tools as I need them.

I had the worst experiences with this place. I tried talking to a manager to rectify the issues I was having to no avail. I wanted to return a defective brake bleeder that wasn't working and was missing a piece out of the box, and she insisted on attempting to apply a restocking fee. I requested to have my itc membership refunded, and she refused, affirming that I have to call customer service for that. The customer service says that the store has to process the refund. This was really one of the worst experiences I ever had.

My 2nd visit and this is my go to place for tools and accessories that I don't need to last a life time or one off projects. Service is prompt and the staff was frieldly/helpful. Take advantage of coupons and save as much as u can.

i came to the store directed by the website to buy an item (grease gun). i needed several. the stuff said that they have 5 of them in stock somewhere on the shelves. noone helped me find them and i could not locate them myself. overall the most disfunctional store in terms of both keeping track of their stock and being helpful. zero stars.
