Small neighborhood store. Definitely the place to go if you need something and don't wanna deal with the giant chain stores. I was able to get keys made and out the door in 5 minutes.

I go here when I don't feel like going to Home Depot or Lowe's & most of the time they have exactly what I need for a good price. There's nothing like a neighborhood hardware store, I gotta start going here for a 1st choice.

Here is another pure example of people setting up shop in a community just for profit,and not having any respect for the predominant ethnic majority of that community. I went to this hardware store specifically for a stem for my shower because it was leaking. I called them in advanced and was told they had what I was looking for in stock. The Asin women I'm (assuming was the owner) put the stem in the plastic container on the counter. On first inspection I saw that the white hard plastic of the stem was yellowish and looked a little old. I ask did she have another. She put a second one on the counter,same thing yellowish. She proceeded in saying that there was nothing wrong with it because it's been sitting in the box. I said ok paid the $52.22 took it home and installed it. Once together I noticed the shower was making a grinding noise. So I took it apart,used grips to pull out the stem chipping a piece of the plastic in the process. Only to find out there was a loose metal piece rattling around inside the stem. Which was causing the grinding noise in the shower. I called the store and explained what happened and was told they would give me a refund. When I got back to the store and explained what happened in detail,pulled out the stem and shook it so she could hear the loose piece inside rattling. She said because I didn't bring it back in the same condition because of the small chip of plastic being chipped on removal she would not be able to give me a refund. Not that the product she sold me was old and defective. Or that she would not be able to restock it because it was defective. I explained that to her and she became more aggressive. She became even more aggressive in her posture and was basically calling me a liar. Now I generally just walk away from things of this nature but I'm sick and tired of people setting up shop in black communities and have the disrespect and condescending attitude towards black people that support their business. She basically told me I don't care if the product was defective, I'm not going to honor that because I don't have to and what are you going to do about it. I would not recommend patronizing this place at all,especially people of color.
