Drove there on a Sunday because they posted hours on Google and on their door that they are open but they were closed.

Dumont Hardware is always my first stop. Bill is knowledgeable, helpful, and usually has what you need in stock, including some stuff you cannot find elsewhere. The prices are reasonable. As an example, I needed large washers to use as shims on a motor shaft. True Value wanted $2.79 each! Bill had them at the correct price, 12 cents each. His advice is not always needed, but I listen anyway and usually learn something I did now know before. Also his advice is priceless when you do need it. Make Dumont Hardware your first stop. You may not need to make a second stop.

Bill is incredibly knowledgeable! From plumbing to electrical, he's given me helpful troubleshooting advice for my DIY projects for years. Very good prices and he'll most likely have whatever you need, if not in the front then definitely the back, its like a magician's hat back there. He had items I've been looking for that couldn't be found in Lowe's, Home Depot, and Benjamin Brothers. I am so grateful for your help, Thank you Bill

It's a small hardware store, so obviously it won't have every single thing you need. For most small fixes, however, it's fantastic. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly, and he has pointed me to other hardware stores if he doesn't carry what I need. Small town feel, and a definite sense of community that we tend to lose with bigger stores. Worth a visit to support a local business. Bring cash!

Dumont Hardware has anything and everything you need. The owner Bill, is not only friendly but knowledgeable of everything in his store. Even his friends give you free advice. His friend, Newton, advised me on how to store ice melt so it would last un damaged. I simply love this place.
