Very disappointed, drove to Ace to support our local business, it was 3pm, store wasn't very busy, waited 5-8 minute to get a key made. No one helped or even acknowledged me. I called the store from my cell & asked if they could please send someone over to the key department, was told they would. I waited 10 minutes, still no help, so I left. I would have understood or at least not made a review had the store been busy, but, it wasn't. I'm not going to boycott a store for something minor like this, I'm simply, disappointed in them. A simple "Be with you in a minute.." can go a long way.

Professional, friendly, and courteous people work here! I came in and was immediately directed where I could find what I needed. I didn't have to wait long for assistance, and I left feeling satisfied. I'll be coming back!

This is always the first place I think of whenever I need to fix or replace something in my home. If they don’t have the item I need in stock, they always offer to check to see if another Costello’s Ace Hardware Store has it available, or they order it for me. All of the associates I have dealt with over the years have been very knowledgeable about the products they carry, and very helpful.

Just wanted to say I had great experience at this location on Friday, December 15th, with your staff - Elliot H. He was able to program my new key fob within 3 minutes of my arrival. Meanwhile at the Farmingdale location the young staff person had me waiting for almost an hour and I went there twice to have it done. Elliot H provided great customer service and should be recognized for his professionalism and work ethic.

One of my favorite places to go they have just about everything you’ll ever need for home repair and DIY. Helpful knowledgeable people good prices and any nut bolt screw if miscellaneous one off hardware items you’ll ever need.
