Team was great. Richard, the owner, was super kind, really knows what he's talking about, and helped us think through what option was best for us. They installed an AC at our place, that's now running like a charm (and they did it within a day!). Very happy with the outcome - they come highly recommended!

Edit: First of all, there was NO BOX with clearly marked price. You pulled out a battery from a drawer, not a BOX with any kind of price tag on. I am NOT STUPID. Second, if it had a price tag, it does not make any sense for you to say '$6 is fine'. Cause you only mentioned $10 for the card, and never mentioned the price for cash. And you never mentioned that this was the minimum payment required for using card, but instead made it sound like the battery "actually costed $10". Third, I never waited till the battery was installed and told you that I only had $6. I PAID FIRST and then asked you to help install it (which you eventually didn't cause I installed it myself.) And don’t write like this was some kind of big work, cause it was just pulling out a battery from a hole (which takes like 1 sec) and i asked for help cause i had short nails. AND YOU DIDN’T EVEN HELP Fourth, Target has the same battery for $4.99 (this is actually 3 batteries) and I only bought ONE. Amazon also sells 3 batteries for $6.43 (exact SAME model from the SAME brand) and I only bought ONE. Fifth, READ what you write. You think I don’t know how to speak English? I have lived in this country for a long time, know how business works in this country, and have the same rights as you do. SUCH A RACIST, CLUELESS MERCHANDISER. Discrimination has been prohibited since the implementation of the Civil Rights Act. Nobody taught you about this? Honestly, what you wrote just reflects your personality. And thanks to that, everyone reading this commentary would know the way you think. And please feel ashamed for being a human like that. Before edit (Non-English): 절대 가지마세요! 완전 가격으로 사기칩니다 가격표가 안붙어있어서 계산할 때까진 몰라요 다른 곳에서 세개에 4.99불에 살 배터리를 여기서 하나에 6불 주고 샀고 심지어 카드가격은 10불이라면서 현금 유도했어요 ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

Love, love, love this store!!! They have *everything* and it is so fun to see how much they can get into a small space. Everyone is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I stop by to say hi and find a few things every time I'm in NYC. My kids describe it as an Ace Hardware that threw up in a bodega. If I didn't live quite a few states away I would be there regularly.

This place has a little bit of everything! Richard the owner had exactly what I was looking for. I told him that we had just relocated here from the West Coast, And he emphatically welcomed us to New York. (Tough guy heckler type :) They even offer air conditioning installation services!! Just make sure that you have the dimensions of the room and the window before you call them. Would definitely shop here again
