Drove from far away because they had a specialty item in stock that I needed quickly for a project. Easy online ordering and it was ready for pick up the same day. Friendly staff (including a doggie greeter!), and Chatham was a very pretty place to visit.

Frequent low on stock issues. Would not take back expensive unused electrical items for return. I will not be doing any more business here.

They deny every refund on electric parts even if package was never opened

I returned an item that was suggested by a clerk to be what I needed. Unfortunately, It did not correspond to what I asked for. I was refused a refund because "you opened the package". How else does a buyer read the description for installation without opening the container? In a small town, respecting a regular buyer is essential! I will never go to Chatham Hardware again to be so disrespected. I suggest potential customers use other local hardware stores in the area.
